Lindsay Gingrich Kennedy, Esquire

“Don’t be afraid to take the road less traveled”

Lindsay grew up in Nothern York County and continues to reside there.  She graduated from Nothern High School in 1994, from Dickinson College in 1998 with her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and from the Dickinson School of Law in 2001.  She was admitted to practice in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania in 2001; however, she no longer maintains her licensure in New Jersey.

While in law school, Lindsay worked at the Disability Clinic assisting clients in obtaining Social Security benefits.  In her first year of practice, Lindsay worked in a general practice firm where she was able to determine that her passion is family law.  In 2002, Lindsay limited her practice to family law and real estate and in 2020, she limited her practice to only family law.  She is passionate about her work, is detail-oriented, responsive to her clients, and she takes the time to listen and understand each client’s unique circumstances.  Her dedication to her clients and each case and matter are reflected in the results she obtains (whether litigated or settled).

Lindsay was formally trained as a Collaborative Attorney, a Parenting Coordinator, and in mediation.  She is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association where she is active in their Family Law Section and has served on Council; she is a member of the York County Bar Association and their family law section; she is a past member of the Dauphin County Bar Association and is past Chair of their Family Law Section; she is a member of the Cumberland County Bar Association, is a past member of the Editorial Committee, and was the past Chair of their Family Law Section.  Lindsay  is also a past member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals and a member of the Collaborative Professionals of Central Pennsylvania.

Adding to her credentials, Lindsay has authored materials for, lectured at, and moderated numerous programs for both the Summer and Winter meetings for the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Family Law Section.  She has also authored materials for, and lectured on full-day seminars on the law of easements as well as authored materials for, lectured at, and moderated numerous other family law courses offered by PBI and local bar associations.  She is both a past member and past vice-chair of the Program Planning Committee for the PBA FLS Winter and Summer Meetings.  Additionally, she has been selected as one of the top 40 under 40 in Pennsylvania in Family Law by the American Society of Legal Advocates and in 2014 she was chosen as 1 of the top 10 Pennsylvania family law attorneys under the age of 40 by the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys.  Notably, she was also selected as a Rising Star in Family Law in the 2013, 2015 and 2016 editions of Super Lawyers and was named one of Philadelphia Magazine’s Top Attorneys as one of Pennsylvania’s Outstanding Young Lawyers in those same years.

In her (limited) free time, Lindsay enjoys spending time with her teenage boys, her husband and step-daughter.  She loves to swim, read, fish, cook, and bake and enjoys spending time with her parents at their farm/orchard in Dillsburg.
