Meredith R. Allie, Esquire
“Passion is the difference between having a job and building a career you love.”
Meredith has a wide range of legal experience. Early in her career she practiced consumer protection law- specializing in breach of warranty claims, lemon law, foreclosure defense, and fair debt collection practices law. She also practiced employment law where she advocated for employees regarding wrongful termination, discrimination, and unemployment compensation. While Meredith enjoyed those practice areas, family law became, and remains, her passion.
Meredith received her B.S. from Penn State University and her Juris Doctorate from Widener University School of Law School. She began her law career in a nationwide consumer protection practice and worked primarily in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. Meredith returned to York County in 2009 to focus her practice on assisting fellow members of her hometown. Meredith has a unique approach to all client matters. She recognizes that every client has their own story and that very personal story helps to determine the appropriate course of action. Meredith’s approach to handling these most difficult situations for distressed clients has proven successful in the courtroom, but most importantly, in the lives of her clients.
She is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the York County Bar Association, as well as being the past President of the Family Law Section in York County. Additionally, Allie was recognized and awarded as a Super Lawyers Rising Star from 2012 to 2018, until her (ahem) years of practice … and age made her ineligible for consideration. She was recently awarded the title of Super Lawyer for 2022 and 2023. In her spare time, Meredith enjoys spending time with her family, drinking copious amounts of coffee, and attempting to utilize the mass amounts of crafting supplies she has managed to gather and store in her basement!
